Our participation in the OCA Days and the Odoo Experience
Last week, we at OPaaS had the special opportunity to take part in two important Odoo community events: the OCA Days in Liège and the Odoo Experience (OXP) in Brussels. Both events offered us valuable insights into the world of Odoo, exciting discussions and new ideas for the future.
OCA Days
This year we were a Saphir sponsor of the OCA Days. The OCA Days gave us an insight into the lively developer community surrounding Odoo. It was particularly impressive to see how close the dialogue within the community is and how much emphasis is placed on technological development. Here you could feel that the OCA community is a strong driving force for the progress of Odoo.
Our CEO Justin Mester gave an exciting presentation on OPaaS, which was met with great interest. It was nice to see that our solution was presented in the right environment - there was a lot of interest in new hosting solutions, especially in tech-savvy circles.
We were also able to meet many of our existing Odoo partners again and make new contacts that are valuable for the further development of our platform. The intensive dialogue with the community inspired us and provided us with many new ideas for the future of OPaaS.
Odoo Experience
Directly after the OCA Days, we travelled on to the Odoo Experience in Brussels, one of the most important events for Odoo users worldwide. Here we had the opportunity to present OPaaS to a wider audience at our own stand. The response was consistently positive - many visitors showed great interest in our hosting solution, particularly with regard to the challenges that some users face with the performance of Odoo.sh on older versions.
The opportunity to offer OPaaS as an alternative was welcomed by many participants. We were able to make numerous new contacts and collect partner enquiries, which shows us that our solution is well received and offers real added value.
Inspiration and team spirit
Both events offered us a valuable experience, not only professionally but also personally. The exchange with the community and networking took centre stage, but we were also able to use the days as a team to develop new ideas together and gather inspiration for the further development of OPaaS.
The evening at the Odoo party in Brussels in particular was a great opportunity to review the day in a relaxed atmosphere and catch up with other participants.
Conclusion
The OCA Days and the Odoo Experience 2024 were a great opportunity for OPaaS to present our solution to a broad audience and at the same time take home valuable impressions and contacts. The positive feedback and the great interest in OPaaS encourage us to continuously develop our platform and serve the needs of the Odoo community even better.
